The Sonny Dixon Interchange is the junction of the Tom Triplett and the Jimmy DeLoach parkways. It is located in Port Wentworth on the west side of the Greater Savannah Area in the state of Georgia.
In 2002 the Georgia Legislature passed a resolution [1] to designate this intersection in honor of Sonny Dixon, a local news anchor and former politician. Dixon, who is a Democrat, served as a Georgia State Representative from 1989 to 1997. [2]
