Sonia Baghdady

Sonia Baghdady is a news anchor for News Channel 8 (WTNH) in Connecticut. She anchors the weekday shows "Good Morning Connecticut" and "News Channel 8 at Noon." Baghdady joined WTNH in December 2002.
Before joining WTNH, Baghdady was an anchor and reporter for WWLP in Springfield, Massachusetts, and a reporter for a Long Island News 12 affiliate.

In 1997, Baghdady graduated from Fairfield University in Fairfield, Connecticut.

Her birthday is June 16. Baghdady grew up in both New York and California, but spent many of her formative years in Connecticut. She is the sister of Amanda Baghdady, a biology teacher at Bethel High School, in Bethel, Connecticut.
