Songy

Songy is a village and commune in the Marne département of north-eastern France. There have been captured, in september 1731, the famous "wild girl of Songy", better known as "Marie Angelique, the wild girl of Champagne ". Then, she spent some months in the castle of the Vicount d'Epinoy (castle that could still be seen, close to the very old church of the village, XII th century).
