Songdo Incheon Towers

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Songdo Incheon Twin Towers are a pair of supertall skyscrapers planned for completion in 2013. The $3 billion, 613 m (2,011 ft) tall twin towers will be the centerpiece of a 13,000 acre (53 km²) urban development, called New Songdo City, located in Incheon, South Korea. The towers will be connected by three sky bridges and house a hotel, a convention center, offices and a shopping mall. Incheon officials hope the towers will replace General MacArthur’s epic landing as a symbol for the city.
