"Song of Sharon" is a song by Joni Mitchell, located on the album Hejira. It deals with the themes of abortion and marriage while a woman in New York has flash-backs of her childhood. It is a haunting song, and one of her lesser-known ones. Incidentally the mandolin shop is called Mandolin Brothers Ltd.
