He played only one club in K-League side Ulsan Hyundai Horang-i. In K-League 1990, His first season, He awarded Rookie of the Year award beating his strong rival Kim Hyun-Seok, Ha Seok-Ju and so on. He scored 3 goals and 7 assists in K-League 1990.
