Song is an area in Nigeria. ZUMO District in song, is one of the oldest districts in Adamawa, founded in 1876 by Modibbo Sabannah as the first district head, the present District Head Alhaji Suleiman Aminu is the 11th District Head, the people are farmers.
Song makes up one of the twenty-one local government areas (LGAs), in the Adamawa state in eastern Nigeria Modibbo Sabana received an independent flag from Shehu Danfodio, but submited willingly to modibbo Adama of Yola with good understanding and since then Zumo District Head becomes one of the King Makers of Lamido Adamawa and it is called the home district.
It has an approximate population of 4,000.
