Sonagazi (Bengali: সোনাগাজি) is an Upazila of Feni District in the Division of Chittagong, Bangladesh.

Sonagazi is located at
. It has 37184 units of house hold and total area 235.07 km².It is situated in the southern part of the district, the only Upazila to have a coastline with the Bay of Bengal. Sonagazi is noted for its natural beauty, a sluice gate, known as "Muhuri Project", built in the late 1970s to control water flow of the Feni river is a popular tourist destination as well.
Noted literary figure Shahidullah Kaisar and film maker Zahir Raihan hailed from Sonagazi.

As of 1991 Bangladesh census[1], Sonagazi has a population of 215122. Males constitute are 49.8% of the population, and females 50.2%. This Upazila's eighteen up population is 99050. Sonagazi has an average literacy rate of 32.2% (7+ years), and the national average of 32.4% literate. [2]
