[edit] March 2008

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Kinawa Middle School, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Jackollie (talk) 00:13, 7 March 2008 (UTC)

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did to Kinawa Middle School. Your edits appeared to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Jackollie (talk) 00:19, 7 March 2008 (UTC)

Please stop. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did to Kinawa Middle School, you will be blocked from editing. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 20:46, 7 March 2008 (UTC)

Re your message: No, it was not necessary to delete all of your work. Sorry about that. I'm glad that you are contributing to the article. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 21:28, 7 March 2008 (UTC)
Re your message: Bylines are not added to Wikipedia articles due to the collaborative nature of Wikipedia. Everybody's edits are likely to be changed, so what you wrote at one time may not be there sometime in the future. And you might not want to take credit for whatever was added. =) All articles do have a history log (for example, the school article's history is here), so people will be able to see what you have contributed to the article. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 21:48, 7 March 2008 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. One of the core policies of Wikipedia is that articles should always be written from a neutral point of view. A contribution you made to Kinawa Middle School appears to carry a non-neutral point of view, and your edit may have been changed or reverted to correct the problem. Please remember to observe our core policies. Thank you. Macy (talk) 21:57, 7 March 2008 (UTC)

This is your last warning. You will be blocked from editing the next time you vandalize a page, as you did with this edit to Talk:Kinawa Middle School. -- Anonymous DissidentTalk 22:45, 7 March 2008 (UTC)

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 12 hours in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for disruptive editing. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make constructive contributions. Please read the instructional links at the top of this page. After the block expires, you will be expected to follow Wikipedia policies and guidelines. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below. —Travistalk 23:35, 7 March 2008 (UTC)

This blocked user (block log | autoblocks | rangeblocks | unblock | contribs | deleted contribs) has asked to be unblocked, but an administrator has reviewed and declined this request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy). Do not remove this unblock request while you are blocked.

Request reason: "my last "vandalism" was not a vandalism, I was trying to change the article i was working on from "start" back to "stub" on the disscusion page. Please review this and see if my last act constituted vandalism or not."

Decline reason: "This and this certainly aren't constructive. Those are your last edits. — IrishGuy talk 00:17, 8 March 2008 (UTC)"

Please make any further unblock requests by using the {{unblock}} template. However, abuse of the template may result in your talk page being protected.

[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:P942731958 1111.jpg

Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:P942731958 1111.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 16:50, 8 March 2008 (UTC)

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I've noticed that you've been adding your signature to some of your article contributions, such as the edit you made to Kinawa Middle School. This is a simple mistake to make and is easy to correct. For future reference, the need to associate edits with users is taken care of by an article's edit history. Therefore, you should use your signature only when contributing to talk pages, the Village Pump, or other such discussion pages. For a better understanding of what distinguishes articles from these type of pages, please see What is an article?. Again, thanks for contributing, and enjoy your Wikipedia experience! Thank you. —Travistalk 19:18, 8 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Notability of Beechlawn Rovers Football Club

A tag has been placed on Beechlawn Rovers Football Club requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Hqb (talk) 20:17, 8 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] AfD nomination of Halo 3 New Convenant and Human Weapons

An editor has nominated Halo 3 New Convenant and Human Weapons, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Halo 3 New Convenant and Human Weapons and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 15:04, 9 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Kinawa Middle School

This article was redirected to the school district article because that is what Wikipedia policy requires. That action and the reason for it are clearly explained on the article's talk page. The policy describes the rules that all of us Wikipedians must follow. They are not arbitrary. They are the result of much discussion and consensus among Wiki users. If you disagree with the policy, please contribute to the discussion on the school notability talk page. If you do that, please be sure to clearly state your opinion and use facts to support it, including any change you might suggest.

Please note that this is not the only middle school article that has been redirected. There have been several, and there will be several more in the future. For example, see J T Lambert Intermediate School. Since this article's redirect has been reverted, it is possible, even likely, that another Wiki user may redirect it in the future. I will not redirect it because I am opposed to edit wars. If you wish, I would be happy to continue this discussion with you.

As a new member of the Wikipedia community, you may want to take a look at Wikipedia:Ownership of articles. Please remember that all articles belong to everyone. These are the agreed upon rules and we all must follow them. Thanks. Truthanado (talk) 17:15, 9 March 2008 (UTC)

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Kinawa Middle School. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. If necessary, pursue dispute resolution. —Travistalk 23:59, 9 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Peer review feedback

Hi, I noticed you have a request in at peer review which has not yet received any response besides the semi-automated script. Have you tried requesting a peer review from the volunteers list? Another idea you might want to try is to review someone else's request (particularly one from the list of requests without responses), then ask that they look at your request. Hope these are helpful suggestions and help to get some feedback for your request soon, Ruhrfisch ><>°° 17:10, 15 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Portal:Germany/Did you know

Hi, I see you added a fact from the article about Karl-Heinz Schnibbe to the Germany Portal. I've removed it, because normally the portal only uses entries that have been featured on the main page as part of T:DYK and because the article is unreferenced. I would encourage you to take care of the referencing issue and then nominate the article at T:TDYK.--Carabinieri (talk) 23:01, 30 March 2008 (UTC)
