Somewhere in the Between is a full length studio album by Streetlight Manifesto, released November 13, 2007. The title was announced on August 22, 2007 on the band's website. Somewhere in the Between is Streetlight Manifesto's first album of original material since their 2003 debut Everything Goes Numb. It also follows their 2006 re-recording of Catch 22's Keasbey Nights.
On August 31, 2007 the band posted 3 short song samples on their website. The ID3 tags of the samples revealed the track titles.
On September 7, 2007 both the Victory Records and Streetlight Manifesto sites were updated with the album cover, release date, and full track listing.
On October 9th, the band posted 2 more short song samples, the tags revealing the tracks to be "Watch It Crash" and "The Receiving End of It All". They also wrote: "Well, we pulled some strings, begged, pleaded and we are super happy to announce we will be allowed to sell the new record at the Jersey show on the 9th (our beloved Starland Ballroom), four days before it's out in stores and on the web! To show our appreciation to our NJ friends we will be giving out a signed (by the whole band) poster with every single cd sold that night."
In October 2007, "Down, Down, Down to Mephisto's Cafe", and "Watch It Crash" were released on a split sampler with Voodoo Glow Skulls. Later that month, "We Will Fall Together" was also released as part of a Victory Records Sampler.
The album's first song, 'We Will Fall Together', is Streelight Manifesto's first music video.

[edit] Miscellanea
- "Watch It Crash" sometimes transitions into "That'll Be The Day" when played live. This transition was sometimes played a year before Somewhere in the Between was even released.
- The character Marigold in the song The Receiving End of It All is likely based on the song Marigold by Nirvana, of which Tomas is a big fan.
- "The Blonde Lead The Blind" says, "And I gave up, yes I gave up and then I gave in," a reference to "Giving Up, Giving In."
- Mephisto from the song "Down Down Down to Mephisto's Cafe" is a reference to the Marvel comic book character Mephisto.
- Somewhere In The Between is Tomas Kalnoky's first full-length album to consist completely of music originally recorded for the album.
- Smiles for Macavity contains "One Tin Soldier," a cover of the song written by Dennis Lambert and Brian Potter in 1969.
- Keasbey Nights contains "Supernothing," which was on Smiles for Macavity.
- A Call to Arms contains "Dear Sergio:", which was originally featured on Keasbey Nights as "Dear Sergio".
- Everything Goes Numb contains "Here's To Life" which was originally featured on A Call to Arms.
- Although never recorded, several songs were written for previous projects.
- We Will Fall Together was written over a period of about ten years.
- Down Down Down to Mephisto's Cafe was originally written after Keasbey Nights for Catch-22's second album.
- The Blonde Lead the Blind was originally written for Everything Goes Numb, but was left off because Tomas never finished it.
