[edit] Episode recap
Cristina, Izzie and Meredith aggressively pursue the case of Shane, a male patient who seems to have a hysterical pregnancy, which fascinates them and the entire medical staff, and also angers Meredith because everyone in the hospital is not respecting the privacy of the patients. In a parallel situation, many hospital workers whisper continuously about Derek and Meredith and give them little privacy as well. A sheltered young patient inspires Alex to better express his feelings for Izzie. The episode ends with Alex arriving at the bar where Meredith, George, Cristina and Izzie are having a drink - Alex pulls Izzie and kisses her.
