Something Like Silas
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Something Like Silas was an alternative Christian rock band from Southern California, USA who played at the Hume Lake Christian camp before being signed onto Sparrow Records in 2003 and was the regular band at Flood, a ministry that meets at Kearny High School in San Diego, and is pastored by Matt Hammett. In the Fall of 2006, the band members decided to bring an end to Something Like Silas and form a new band, Future of Forestry.
The founding members of Future of Forestry are the same as the final members of Something Like Silas, however the band posted on their old Web site that Future of Forestry is a new band with a new musical direction[1], Future of Forestry's initial EP is evidence that the band's "sound" has changed from their previous albums.
