"Someone Like You" is a popular, romantic ballad written by Northern Irish singer-songwriter Van Morrison and recorded on his 1987 album, Poetic Champions Compose.
It is one of the songs on Van Morrison's 2007 compilation album, Van Morrison at the Movies - Soundtrack Hits and has been included in several movies since the early 1990s.
A re-mastered version has been included in the 2007 compilation album, Still on Top - The Greatest Hits.
