"Someone's In Love" is the name of a 1988 US only single by British pop group Five Star. The single was the third of five releases from their album Rock The World.
Doris sang the lead vocals on this track rather than sister Denise, who was lead singer on all of Five Star's singles up to this point. The change surprised many fans.
After the release of "Someone's In Love", Five Star and their father/manager Buster were at loggerheads with RCA and decided to leave the label and sign to rival record company Epic. The band felt they no longer had control over single releases with the producers they were working with.
The group's post chart career has been active, Denise and Delroy writing for other artists (including Immature and Nikki Flores), while some of their hits have been covered by Mandy Moore ("Let Me Be The One"), and even Steps, who recorded a four track EP of the Five Star hits "Can't Wait Another Minute/Whenever You're Ready/Rain Or Shine/System Addict" (which never saw commercial release). Louise also covered "The Slightest Touch".
