Some Girls was a collective of hardcore punk musicians who came from different backgrounds and all who had/have established bands that pushed the said genre's limit. Their musical style was a hybrid of hardcore punk, thrashcore, and experimental noise. After recording two EPs, they released their debut full length in 2003. Entitled All My Friends Are Going Death, it compiled the material from their two previous releases along with demos and new material. In 2005, they released The DNA Will Have Its Say, an EP, on bassist Justin Pearson's record label Three One G Records. In January 2006, they released a second full length entitled Heaven's Pregnant Teens on the well-known punk label Epitaph Records.

According to a punknews.org article published on the 23rd of October 2007 the band have broken up. The band's former label, "Deathwish Inc." went on to confirm this announcement by posting that Some Girls had "called it a day." From Deathwish Inc.'s official website:

Word from various members of Some Girls is that they have officially and quietly put the band to rest. Some Girls released music on Deathwish, 31G, and lastly Epitaph Records. The band also toured with the likes of Daughters, The Locust, Converge, and many more during their short life.
