Somaiya Vidyavihar

Somaiya Vidyavihar is a group of education institutions located in Vidyavihar suburb of Mumbai. The suburb has been named based on the group.
It was established in 1959, and its first institution was K. J. Somaiya College of Arts and Science, established in 1960. There are about 30 schools, colleges, a vocational center, and a polytechnic college in its 60 acre (243,000 m²) campus. It comprises educational institutes catering courses from kindergarten to MBA.
The campus has 33 institutions under its umbrella and a number of different courses are offered.

VOICES: Your Word, Our Paper is Somaiya Vidyavihar's Campus Weekly newsletter[1] which is released every Monday. It began in December 2003 and has completed almost two years of publishing and continues to publish the latest news about the campus, opinions on happenings in the city/state/country, courses introduced by different institutes of Somaiya Vidyavihar, etc.

The campus will soon have its own Internet Radio Station. Currently, podcasts are published as a part of this activity.
