Som Livre is a Brazilian record company that was founded in 1969 to commercialize soap opera sound tracks.
They later expanded to record for national artists. They recorded albums for many important artists and bands like Tim Maia, Rita Lee, Barão Vermelho, Daniela Mercury, Cazuza, Xuxa, Marina Elali and others.
