[edit] MVNO?

I would be inclined to say that Solo Mobile is NOT an MVNO, it is simply a branded service offered by Bell Mobility. An MVNO would be 7-11 Speakout or PC Mobile.

[edit] Reformatting

Hi guys, this is Fred, and I've updated and majorly reformed The Solo Mobile WikiPedia page. If there are any concerns regarding my edits, please reply here before banning me. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Fred2028 (talkcontribs) 09:52, 27 October 2006

[edit] $250, 30MB?

The second sentence in the article says

The Sanyo 3100 which is available in brown ($59), blue and pink,
The Motorola RAZR v3c, ($250, 30 MB)

What is "30 MB"? Megabytes? Of what? Mikesc86 09:32, 23 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Advertising.

I tagged this page as an advertisement because of the numerous price and product listings. It's fine to talk about the price ranges and services offered in a general sense, but the article isn't meant to be an extension or a mirror of the company website.

I'm in the process of cleaning out the unnecessary stuff, but I'm not really interested in doing a full rewrite :) Anyone want to take up the cause?

[edit] Anti-competitive

I believe that something should be mentioned about anti-competitive measures. While Solo was created by Bell and operates within the same stores as Bell, its phones are different and not interchangeable. Reasons for this could be a) Canadian oligopolistic mobile phone sector b) lack of regulation, c) company protectionism as a manner of increasing revenues.

Essentially, this probably should fall under a "criticisms" section like a large # of companies on Wikipedia have. The line would read something like "Solo Mobile has been critisized for being anti-competitive as its technology is not interchangeable with Bell even though they were created by and currently owned by Bell." Are there any objections?. Canking (talk) 23:55, 26 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] 30 MB

In response to the question about 30 MB, it's internal memory. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Fred2028 (talkcontribs) 22:40, 19 May 2008 (UTC)
