Solobacterium moorei

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Solobacterium moorei is a bacterium that has been identified as a contributor to halitosis.[1] It is a gram-positive anaerobic bacillus.[2], erroneously known as Bulleidia moorei.[3] This particular strain was identified by Kageyama and Benno in 2000, previously an unclassified Clostridium group RCA59.[4]

The genus Solobacterium is in the family Erysipelotrichaceae of the order Anaeroplasmatales.[3]
