Solo Avital is autodidact visual effects artist, musician and award winning filmmaker. Avital's 2006 film ...More Than 1000 Words about Israel's leading war photographer Ziv Koren received numerous international awards and has been screened in countries such as USA, Japan, Canada, China, Israel, Germany, Austria and other European countries. The film was produced by Oliver Berben of "MOOVIE the art of entertainment" and is distributed by "Telepool" Germany.
The film was the first Israeli film ever to be invited by an Iranian film festival, The Teheran Fajr International Film Festival. It sparked controversial debates in Iran's, Israel's and European media after the apparent Iranian government request from the festival to exclude the film from their program.
