Solihull Water Polo Club are an amateur water polo team from Solihull, Birmingham in England. They were formed by an ex-waterpolo player, Dave Boot.

The 'Sticklebacks' are currently a member of the English National League, after joining in 2000 and now find themselves competing for a place in the top flight.

Their 'home ground' is traditionally Tudor Grange Swimming Baths although due to refurbishments at this moment in time they are currently playing and training elsewhere.

Solihull Water Polo Club were formed out of Solihull Swimming Club. With Mike Beard at the helm of the under 18's team the club very quickly started produce talented youngsters, with more than a handful being called up to GB squads and some gaining caps for England and GB.

The senior men's team competes in the Midland League, Midland Cup and Warwickshire cup. The team frequently win the Midland league and cups and in 2000 they put forward a proposition to the National Water Polo League to join.

This request was accepted and they played in the 2000/01 season in division 3. They were promoted the following year after finishing second in the league and quickly established themselves as a top half team in division 2. In the 2006/07 season the team were top of division 2 going into the final weekend and looked destined for promotion, but they ended up finishing second and losing the playoff game for promotion against London Penguin.
