Solidarity Youth Movement, Kerala

The Solidarity Youth Movement is the youth wing of the Islamist political organization Jama-athe Islami Hind in the state of Kerala in India.The movement claims to rely on "Islamic ethics" to fight against "all evils in society".[citation needed] It has been part of major people struggles such as struggles against Plachimata Coca Cola Company, Karimughal Carbon Factory and Kerala government's plan to launch an expressway in Kerala.
