Solestruck is an American e-commerce company based in Portland, Oregon, selling women's shoes direct to consumer via an ecommerce website. Similar to Zappos.com shoe website but smaller in scale, Solestruck sells a variety of women's shoes from over 40 brands, including Steve Madden, Kenneth Cole, New Balance athletic shoes, and other name brands. The Solestruck site is popular with a mainly female, youthful audience[1].
In addition to women's shoes, Solestruck also sells a selection of handbags. On their site, Solestruck states a goal to make online shoe shopping as comfortable and convenient as possible[2]. To achieve this, Solestruck offers free standard shipping, a 365-day return policy, and 24-hour customer service.[3]. The company also includes a pre-paid UPS label in each box to ease the return process [4].

Starting in December 2007, Solestruck launched a campaign to encourage customers to "give the gift of shoes". Including donation forms with each order and also offering them online, the company offered customers a 5% discount for each pair of shoes donated, up to 15% total[5]. Benefiting charities included the National Relief Charities and Soles4Souls.
