Solel

Solel Solar Systems Ltd. is an Israeli solar thermal equipment designer and manufacturer. Solel makes equipment for solar thermal power plants, facilities that use the sun's heat to create steam and turn an electricity generator.

Solel has signed a power purchase agreement with Pacific Gas & Electric to supply a 553 MW solar thermal plant in California. Solel is also constructing 150 MW of plants in Spain.[1]

In January 2008, Ecofin Limited, a London-based investment manager specialising in the utilities sector, announced a major new investment in Solel.[2]
