Soleja is a North Indian surname, usually for those of Punjabi origin. Most people with the name Soleja have immigrated to the state of Uttar Pradesh, which is further east. Today, many Solejas live in Saudi Arabia, the United Kingdom and the United States, although fairly-large sections can be found in Kanpur and Karachi.^{[citation needed]}
