"Soleado" is a wordless folk song composed by Zacar.
It has been sung with various lyrics by many well known artists such as Percy Faith, Paul Mauriat, Mireille Mathieu and several others. Gigi D'Agostino did a trance remix of the tune as well.
The melody has also been adapted to the Christmas song When a Child Is Born sung by Johnny Mathis becoming a number one hit in the UK.
It was used in the German Comedy movie, "Kein Bund fürs Leben", at the end when the main characters sang a verse each.
