Sole Technology, Inc. is an American footwear company, specializing in skateboarding shoe production and distribution. It is owned and run by Pierre André Senizergues, a former professional freestyle skateboarder.
Brands owned by Sole Technology include etnies, etnies Girl, éS and Emerica skate shoes, as well as ThirtyTwo snowboard boots and Altamont Apparel.
Sole Technology has also developed the Sole Technology Institute, dedicated to biomechanical skate shoe research. Their research has led to the development of STI Foam footbeds, an insole designed to relieve pressure; Flo2, a heat reducing tongue; and G2, a shock absorbing gel cushion.
