Soldier of Fortune is Japanese heavy metal band Loudness' 13th studio album, and their first with American vocalist Mike Vescera. It consists of 10 tracks.
This album, together with On the Prowl, is considered to be one of guitarrist Akira Takasaki's greatest guitar works.[citation needed]
