Solar System Ambassador

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Solar System Ambassadors Program is a public outreach program of Jet Propulsion Laboratory or JPL designed to work with motivated volunteers across the United States. These volunteers communicate JPL's space exploration missions and provide information about recent discoveries to people in their local communities.

The Solar System Ambassadors Program evolved from the previous Galileo Ambassadors program of JPL, which was associated with the Galileo space mission in 1997.
