[edit] Biography

[edit] History

Son of Xena and Borias. When Borias was killed, Xena handed the boy to centaur Kaleipus and asked him to take care of him, because she thought he did not deserve a mother like her. So, Solan never knew his father and neither knew that Xena was his mother.

Years later, Xena finds Solan, and discovers that the boy blames her, because he thinks she is the woman who killed his father. Xena manages to convince him that she is not responsible and becomes friendly with him, but does not have the courage to tell him that she is his mother. Later, Hope kills Solan, resulting in a bitter fight between Xena and Gabrielle. In the fifth season episode "God Fearing Child",[1] Xena finds that Solan chose to go Tartarus instead of the Elysian Fields, because once there he would forget about his mother. Xena rescues him and leads him to the Fields. Before leaving, she asks Solan to name the baby she carries, and he chooses the name Eve.
