Soini Mikael Nikkinen (born July 19, 1923 in Kiuruvesi) is a Finnish javelin thrower.
Nikkinen won bronze in javelin in the 1954 European Championships in Athletics. In the 1948 Summer Olympics, he placed 12th, and took 8th place in in Helsinki four years later.
On June 24th, 1956, Nikkinen threw a new world record of 83,56, which lasted for only six days before being surpassed by Janusz Sidło of Poland.
