[edit] "Christian Science"
I thought I'd limit this discussion to your talk page rather than putting it on the Islamic Science talk page. (I tried e-mail but it wouldn't work).
On the Islamic Science talk page you said:
"In fact, if you take a look at the Christian Science article, you will see only the "scientific" ideas that directly relate to Christian theology, which expectedly does NOT include Gregor Mendel's genetic theories, and rightly so. Are you saying that it should then?"
Two points are relevant:
The Christian Science article is not about Science in a Christian context related to Chirstian norms but about a particular Christian sect founded in Boston in the last third of the nineteenth century. The comparison with the Islamic science article missed the point.
If there were an article on Science in a Christian context, the work of Mendel -- the Abbot of the monastery of Brno, would certainly belong there.
--SteveMcCluskey 18:05, 30 May 2006 (UTC)
Okay, so shouldn't "Islamic science" be then renamed to something like "Science in Islamic cultures/context"? And/Or shouldn't "Christian Science" be then forked off into two articles and a disambiguation? I am not aware of an actual Christian counterpart to the Islamic Science article. --SohanDsouza 18:59, 30 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Autoblock
You've never been blocked. Your block log is empty. What's happened is that Wikipedia:Autoblock has probably been triggered for a persistent vandal on the same network as you. If the autoblock is still in place when you return, please rerequest an unblock along with the IP address and username that is reported in the block text, as we have no way of determining which IP is autoblocking you. -- Netsnipe ► 07:48, 4 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Indian Chinese cuisine
Great job on the Indian Chinese cuisine. I've taken the liberty of editing it a bit but the essence is still the same. Wouldn't it be great if we could have separate articles on Manchurian, Chilli, and Szechuan? Mmmm food for thought? In the meantime I'll see what I can do. Take care and enjoy the lolipop chicken. :) --Antorjal 23:20, 19 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] ORT Software
A tag has been placed on ORT Software, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable (see the guidelines for notability here). If you can indicate why the subject of this article is notable, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please write {{hangon}}
on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself.
Please read the criteria for speedy deletion (specifically, articles #7) and our general biography criteria. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Missvain 17:33, 16 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Disputed fair use rationale for Image:SPJCM Logo.JPG
Thanks for uploading Image:SPJCM Logo.JPG. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 04:58, 24 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:3apl platform.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:3apl platform.jpg. You've indicated that the image meets Wikipedia's criteria for non-free content, but there is no explanation of why it meets those criteria. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. If you have any questions, please post them at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions.
Thank you for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 13:10, 21 April 2008 (UTC)
