Soheil Nasseri

Soheil Nasseri is an Iranian-American recital pianist based in New York and Berlin. He has performed a Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center, Lincoln Center, and Konzerthaus Berlin, among other venues. He has premiered over twenty-one works by contemporary composers since 2001.[1] Also notably, he performed the world premiere of Kaikhosru Shapurji Sorabji's Sonata No. 0 (written 1917) at Carnegie Hall in 2002, as well as created the first recordings of it.[2][3] In the past seven years, he has performed twenty-eight of Beethoven's thirty-two piano sonatas at various major venues to fulfill his pledge to perform all of Beethoven's piano works (including chamber music and lieder) before his 250th birthday in 2020.
