Sohanlal (born on November 14, 1976 in Thiruvananthapuram} is a Film maker from Kerala who makes Telefilms and produces programs for the popular Television Channel Amrita TV in Kerala, India.

He holds a degree in English Literature and a Post Graduate Diploma in Web Design.he studied at St Xaviers College Thumba.

He shot into fame in 2006 with the Television film "Neermathalathinte Pookkal" adapted from one of the short stories of Malayalam writer Kamala Surayya who was earlier known as Madhavikutty and Kamala Das. The film was telecast on Amrita TV and brought him critical acclaim and several awards.

He started his career as casual production assistant and script writer 1994-2001 with Doordarshan and later was associated with all major Kerala T.V channels, including Asianet, Indiavision, Jeevan T.V and Kairali T.V. Currently he works in Amritha Television as Senior Program Producer and promo in-charge.

He is also the producer and director of Chitranjali a popular Amrita TV Music program.
