Sogliano al Rubicone is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Forlì-Cesena in the Italian region Emilia-Romagna, located about 90 km southeast of Bologna and about 35 km southeast of Forlì. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,992 and an area of 93.2 km².[1]
The municipality of Sogliano al Rubicone contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Bagnolo, Vignola, Rontagnano, Strigara, Montegelli, Ponte Uso, Ponte Rosso, Montetiffi, S.Maria Riopetra, and Bivio Montegelli.
