Sogliano al Rubicone is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Forlì-Cesena in the Italian region Emilia-Romagna, located about 90 km southeast of Bologna and about 35 km southeast of Forlì. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,992 and an area of 93.2 km².[1]
The municipality of Sogliano al Rubicone contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Bagnolo, Vignola, Rontagnano, Strigara, Montegelli, Ponte Uso, Ponte Rosso, Montetiffi, S.Maria Riopetra, and Bivio Montegelli.
Sogliano al Rubicone borders the following municipalities: Borghi, Mercato Saraceno, Novafeltria, Roncofreddo, Sant'Agata Feltria, Sarsina, Talamello, Torriana.
