Sogakudo Concert Hall (奏楽堂?) is the oldest concert hall in Japan established in 1890.Formerly the Hall was attached to Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music.
In 1972 the hall had got so old and umbearable for school educations , and the Taito City obtained the hall and has been holding as one of the Important Cultural Property.
The hall is rebuilt in Ueno park and nearby we find the statue of Rentaro Taki , one of the alumni .
