Please give some details of the importance of this label (sales figures, media coverage in mainstream media etc. ) - Just zis Guy, you know? [T]/[C] (W) AfD? 10:14, 10 December 2005 (UTC)
- IMO, the fact that the label has released multiple albums by multiple artists is sufficient reason for inclusion. RayGates 17:41, 22 May 2006 (UTC)
I don't disgree with RayGates, but this article could use something to meet WP:CORP since only a couple of the bands seem remotely notable. I added the {{notability}} tag just to prod someone along. -- Scientizzle 00:44, 23 August 2006 (UTC) I'd be interested in hearing the justification for notibility when it comes to artists and labels. Indeed, many 'notable' artists were influenced by many other artists, who in my book become notable, merely for having influenced any other artist. Indeed, the fact that a less notable artist was influenced by a more notable artist makes them worth mentioning, because it is indicative of the influencing artists 'notability'. 'Notibility of art' is a largely subjective and arbitrary phenomen- as such, I'd like to define 'notable' as being any artist which has in any way been influenced by any other artist, or in any way influenced any other artist- this is since will at least in some respects contribute to the documentation of the greater phenomenon of music in this respect- the evolution of sound. <Doughnut>
