Softron is a Canadian tax preparation company headquartered in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. The company specializes in preparing personal income tax returns. During the tax season, the company has over 200 employees stationed in kiosks in different malls across the province of Ontario. Its primary market is Toronto, with over 50 permanent and seasonal locations in this area. [1]
Softron is one of the three largest tax preparation firms in Canada (the others are H&R Block and Liberty Tax.) It is the only 100% Canadian owned firm out of the three. [2]
In addition to providing tax preparation services, Softron offers various other affiliated services, including tax courses, bookkeeping, Taxtron (a digital tax preparation software,) Willtron (allows customers to prepare wills online,) and also acts as an agent for RESP investments.
