[edit] Trivia

  • As Scully investigates the air tube in the hotel room in the beginning, Detective Kelly Ryan states that Scully would not possibly consider that to be a way in the room, saying "you don't think anyone could have squeezed in there?" Mulder replies "You never know". The line refers to the episodes "Squeeze" and "Tooms" from season one, with Eugene Victor Tooms being able to squeeze himself through small openings.
  • No explanation is given why Banton's shadow only sucks in humans and not surrounding matter of any kind.
