Sofia's Hair 4 Health

Sofia’s Hair 4 Health is a charity organization that provides free hair prostheses for cancer patients who have lost their own hair as a result of chemotherapy and cannot afford hair prostheses of their own.[1] [2] [3]
The campaign's initiator, New York City hairdresser Rodolfo Valentin founded this organization in the memory of his mother Sofia, who died from breast cancer. The hair designer, only wants to see many more smiling faces while improving their health and enhancing their appearance. Nominations can originate from the person's own application, his or her friends, family members or medical caretakers. Applicants must currently be under treatment and suffering hair loss due to treatments.
