"Sofa King" is the first single by the hip-hop duo DANGERDOOM from their album The Mouse and The Mask. It was released November 4, 2005. The song takes its name from the show Aqua Teen Hunger Force in the episode Video Ouija where a witch doctor gets Frylock, Meatwad, and Carl to repeat the line "I Am Sofa King, We Todd Ed" in hopes of bringing Shake back to life. In reality, he was tricking them into saying "I am so fucking retarded." There are many variations on the phrase that started the whole phenomenon. "I am wee Todd did. I am sofa king wee Todd did", inspired the 1999 song and *video also called Sofa King by one album artist, 'Dig It Al'. 'Dig It Al' was a one-off album of songs from Wichita Falls, Texas based musician, Jim Gideon. The video and song were created together as a collaboration between Gideon and video director, Jason D. Jones.
