[edit] Safety Section

This molecule is a known carcinogen and I have updated the safety section. I will add more detail about this later. It is currently spotlighted in a lawsuit against Kellog, Brown and Root. Enviropearson (talk) 15:20, 26 March 2008 (UTC)

Good overview of sodium dichromate animal testing is available from the DHHS National Toxicology Program, here: [[1]]. Good source of info to update this section.Enviropearson (talk) 20:11, 28 March 2008 (UTC)

Some info on the uses and role of sodium dichromate, straight from the world's largest producer of chromium compounds, Elementis Chromium: [[2]] Enviropearson (talk) 20:14, 28 March 2008 (UTC)

Sodium dichromate is not a molecule, and Wikipedia is not a US program so when you refer to "DHHS National Toxicology Program" be senstive to that fact, e.g. "the U.S. DHHS National Toxicology Program.." The MSDS probably provides sufficient information on the hazards.--Smokefoot (talk) 22:09, 28 March 2008 (UTC)
