[edit] Sodhi's a Khatri Clan

Do not confuse this clan with Jat clan of Sohi. Sodhi's are an exclusively Khatri clan. The Sikh Guru's were from Sodhi and Bedi clans. There is extensive history into origins of the Sodhi clan of being from Kshatriya descent, and no mention of Jats, although some Jat families who worked for Sodhi's may have adopted this clan name. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Sikh-history (talk • contribs) 14:38, 1 April 2008 (UTC)
