Socawire was born and raised in Antigua and Barbuda. I lived in Villa Area, St. John's Antigua. I lived in the village that was next to King Short Shirt's village, Point Area. I grew up being a hardcore King Short Shirt fan. There were plenty of Steel Bands in my neighborhood. I grew up around Harmonites, Supa Stars, Hell's Gate, and Ebonites Steelbands. I have been a Burning Flames fan since their debut. Antigua and Barbuda is also the home of King Swallow and King Obstinate. I have been a fan of Maestro, Lord Kitchener, Mighty Sparrow, Mighty Arrow, Machel Montano, Beckett, Winston Soso, Black Stalin, Mighty Chalkdust, Barron, Gypsy, Ellie Matt and the GI Brass, WCK,Jam Band, Jam Tymez, Square One, Krosfyah, Edwin Yearwood, Iwer George and many more
