  • I am the author of both Mutual Aid Based Group Work.com and the Social Work with Groups entry. I grant permission for the entry entitled Social Work with Groups in the Wikipedia Enclopedia drawn from the mabgwtheory.blogspot.com website.Andrewcicchetti 12:59, 17 August 2007 (UTC)Andrew Cicchetti
  • Separate from the copyright problem- which you have not solved, as anyone can say they hold the copyright here at Wikipedia- is the problem that this is not an encyclopedia article. It's an essay. -FisherQueen (Talk) 12:32, 18 August 2007 (UTC)
  • Then please advise as to how to solve the copyright problem. Also, it is not clear to me what costitutes an encyclopdia article. Please indicate what makes this entry unsuitable for inclusion so that I can either resolve or delete. 67.101.192.164 16:00, 18 August 2007 (UTC)Andrew Cicchetti
The note on your talk page gives links to how to verify copyright. It doesn't matter, though, because this isn't written in an encyclopedic way at all, and would need a complete rewrite. Encyclopedia article give facts about a specific topic, written in a way that will inform a reader who is unfamiliar with the topic. Our article on Tourette syndrome is an example of an excellent-quality encyclopedia article. This article reads more like something that would be submitted to an academic journal; as a layperson, I'm not even completely sure what its topic is. A history of social work and groups, but I couldn't tell you what that means. -FisherQueen (Talk) 22:06, 18 August 2007 (UTC)

The link to the article on Tourette's Syndrome is a good model. Give me time and I will rework the entry to meet the qualifying standards for an encyclopedic entry. 67.102.0.91 16:25, 19 August 2007 (UTC)Andrew Cicchetti I made major revisions to the entry and hope that it helps. I inlcluded links to internal wiki entries but could not figure out how to generate a content box. Please advise. If it is approved I will add all references in APA format to the entry. Could someone indicate if the changes in this entry begin to rectify the identified problems please. The use of headings has been used to denote the sections that will be developed and added to over time. Aside from the fact that some have been identified as "under construction" is there anything else that is missing from the entry? Thanks for the feedback. I just wanted to acknowledge that the henry street photo is now properly tagged as public domain. The Grace Coyle photo is removed because I did not understand wiki protocol and will seek permission from the copyright holder to post the photo. I don't know if it is like this for other people who make entries but I feel like you just learn as you go along. 12.75.135.41 20:07, 23 August 2007 (UTC)Andrew Cicchetti, MSW, LCSWR

[edit] Stick of dynamite required

This article is terrible. I'm going to strip back anything that does not actually have any data, as there are load of headings with UNDER CONSTRUCTION written under them. For now I will keep the huge lists of texts, but remove the headings, it makes the contents list longer than most stubs --rakkar (talk) 12:04, 5 May 2008 (UTC)

Content-wise, the article is pretty good. It's the formatting, citation style, length, etc. that needs work. -- Scarpy (talk) 14:07, 5 May 2008 (UTC)
