Talk:Social Democratic Party (Hungary)

SzDP is not a member of the socialist international. The official name of the party is HUNGARIAN SOCIAL DEMOCRATIC PARTY (MSzDP) SzDP and MSzDP are two different parties.

They might as well be 2 different parties, it still takes deeper knowledge to know, neither one is the continuition of the MSZDP/SZDP. Fact is, that both Kapolyi and Szűrös are politicians with active pasts in the high ranks of the former Hungarian Social Workers Party, the very same party that obstructed immigrant hungarian social democracy. Of course, even among the immigrants are some phonies who pretend to be true followers of Kéthly or Peyer. My suggestion is, that members of the SZDP and the party itself before 1990 should not link to this page, as both so called social democratic parties are satellite organisations for the MSZP and Fidesz. I propose amending the title of this article to "Hungarian Social Democratic Party" to distinguish MSZDP from SZDP. Karadameguricha (talk) 07:02, 16 March 2008 (UTC)
