Society of Cartographers

The Society of Cartographers is an association of cartographers based in the United Kingdom. Founded as Society of University Cartographers in 1969, it changed to its current name in 1989.

The Society holds an annual Summer School in August or September.

The Society maintains a mail-list, CARTO-SOC, for its members

The Society publishes a newsletter and an annual journal, the Bulletin of the Society of Cartographers
