Social Trends

Social Trends is a major British social and economic survey. It is produced annually by the Office for National Statistics in the United Kingdom. It gathers social and economic data from many governmental and other sources to form a comprehensive picture of how British society is at the moment and how it has changed over time. It also gives analysis of this information. As of 2007 it is in its 27th edition.
It covers various different topics and policy areas e.g. housing, crime, income and wealth, transport, population.
It is published on the Web for free and also in print form.
