Social Theory and Practice
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Social Theory and Practice is an academic journal that was founded in 1970 in the United States and is dedicated to the exploration of theoretical and applied topics across a wide range of academic disciplines. Despite the title, the journal is not restricted to social theory, per se, but also includes many articles from philosophy. During the twenty-first century, it has featured numerous articles on the intersection of epistemology, ethics and political philosophy, especially as they pertain to debates over national sovereignty, globalization and post-modernism. Although like most academic journals, the political tone is generally left-liberal, a wide range of opinions are presented.
