The National Federation of Social Democratic Women in Sweden (Sveriges Socialdemokratiska Kvinnoförbund ) (S-women) ) was established in 1920, by representatives from 120 women’s clubs from all over Sweden. The most important reason for the funding of a national women’s league was to promote and activate women and to get power to pursue politics for women.
Its chairman is Nalin Pekgul.
